Promised Land State Park is a 3,000-acre park on the Pocono Plateau. It is surrounded by state forest and contains two lakes and several small streams. Activities here include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, boating, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and camping. The hiking trails here connect with trails in the state forest and add up to about 50 miles in length.
Promised Land Stet park can be found about 3 miles south of I-84 exit 26 and is <br />well signed from Route 390. Park at the main beach parking area.
